The number one question I get asked is “why did you start Fairytale Fragrance Co?”
Well, I have always had a passion for fragrance, but as I grew older, I began to experience sensitivity to strongly scented perfumes and body care products due to my respiratory illness. Upon further research, I discovered that many commercial fragrances contain synthetic ingredients and chemicals that can be harmful to our health. I decided to create my own products using cleaner ingredients with fragrance oils that are free of phthalates and parabens, and infused with essential oils.
To my delight, I experienced no adverse reactions! I not only regained the ability to wear perfumes and body care products again, but I also discovered a newfound love for scent. Our sense of smell is remarkable because it can trigger memories, more so than any of the other five senses. It's amazing how a simple whiff of a familiar scent can transport you to a different time and place, bringing back vivid recollections of past experiences and moments that were once forgotten. This powerful connection between scent and memory is what inspired me to combine the magic of fragrance with memories of the past. For me, that’s fairytales.
It was a dream come true when I finally launched on October 1st, 2021. I take great care in selecting the scents I use, ensuring that they perfectly complement the beloved stories I share. It is my hope that my products will take you beyond the clouds of reality, allowing you to relive your fondest childhood memories filled with hope and imagination.
